To qualify for an OCA certification, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in administering Oracle database systems, preferably working for a large commercial database firm, as well as at least one year of experience with SQL server administration, and should have taken classes on managing databases as a student. You must also have a good command of English.
This online course is available to students enrolled in the program at Towson University or those who have already completed an associate degree in computer science at the university.
